There are a lot of strange occurrences that happen in the world every day - weird and unexplained things that defy all logic, reason and even the laws of physics. I myself have experienced several strange things that shouldn't have been able to happen and a few people I know have as well. I decided to share a few stories about it since I have had a few occasions where things like time slips or warps have occurred - or just plain old weird stuff.
Last week I was in my kitchen making myself a dinner plate. My oven has a digital clock on it. I glanced at the time and it was 7:18 pm. I turned back to pick the dinner plate up from the counter and then turned back toward the stove so that was about 6 seconds or so. The time on the stove clock was 7:20 pm. I can understand if the clock said 7:19 but I know that two minutes or even one did not pass from the time it took to pick up a plate.
Another time, I was heading to a class I was taking and I was running very late. I had a 20 minute drive and as it was, I would get there at least 10 or more minutes late. When I finally arrived, according to the clock I was actually 5 minutes early. I double checked my clock - which was my cell phone but it was in agreement with the school's clock. How did I get to school in half the time?
A girl I knew experienced something very similar only she was on her way to work in the morning. She was running over a half hour late as she never heard her alarm go off. She was trying to hurry but the traffic on the highway was horrible. She said that she was stuck in traffic for at least fifteen minutes. Finally, the traffic lightened but it was very odd. Suddenly there was hardly any cars around her and she didn't know what happened. It through her off so much that she almost pulled over trying to comprehend how a traffic jam turned into hardly anyone on the highway. She knew she was very late so she tried to put it out of her mind for the time being and continued on to work. When she got to work, she clocked in 3 minutes late which should have been more like 45 minutes late.
Another person said, "I was 13 years old, and my parents told me to take out pieces from an old dresser from my attic out to the trash (that had been sitting on our front porch for about a week now). I want to say I left the porch to take the trash out at around 4:30 pm - 5:00 pm, I didn't actually check the time before exiting; all I know is that it was dusk and the sun had not yet set. I made multiple trips back and forth, taking different sections of dresser out each time. I made about 3 or 4 trips already, and was on my last one... I remember putting a large drawer in a trash container, and then suddenly I am inside, on my porch and it is pitch black outside. I rush back in the house and peer at the clock on the microwave, It reads, ''11:01''. I'm so utterly shocked that I'm nearly in tears. My parents come into the kitchen from the living room, and are angry at me for being out so long, and that I need to check-in before going out with friends. I slumped into my room and the incident bothered me for months, and still bothers me over half a decade later.
Yet another person's experience went like this: "I was propped up with my back against the headboard of my bed. I was watching a movie waiting for dinner. My wife was sitting at the computer to the left of the TV, her back to me. My 12 year old son walked in and stood directly in front of the TV (blocking my view) and proceeded to ask his mom a question. She turned around for a moment and answered his question, so he left the room. At the moment he left the room (turned right and out of sight), he walked back in. I sat there watching the entire identical thing happen again. Absolutely word for word, motion for motion.
A man wrote about his friend and his friend's stepdaughter who experienced something strange. This lady and her stepdaughter were crossing a busy street with many lanes, and as they entered the final lane before reaching the other side, they realized they were going to be struck by a car. But instead of the car hitting them, they both wound up automatically on the other side of the road. Then they appeared to have “hallucinated”, seeing themselves as though the vehicle had struck them. She can even describe the interior of the ambulance that she was transported in, and apparently later died in, even though she has never been in an ambulance before.
Here is yet another one: "A couple weeks ago, Jocy received an email from a friend along with an attachment of an essay. This friend wanted Jocy to read the essay before the friend submitted it to the professor. Jocy was discussing the essay with the friends currently around her at the time. She read through it, said (aloud) that it was fine, and that although the conclusion seemed rushed, she thought her friend could hand it in and get a decent grade. A while after this happened, the writer of the essay arrived on the scene. She mentioned that she needed to finish her essay so she could send it to Jocy to proofread. Jocy informed her she had already read it. Her friend said she hadn't even finished writing it, let alone sent it. When Jocy now looked on her phone for the essay, there was nothing. As you can see, Jocy had witnesses for this event.
There are so many more people with stories like this one. Some are even so incredible it is hard to believe it could happen.
