In this post I am going to teach you how to build your sacred sanctuary. You are going to want to use all of your senses to not only create your space, but to make it stronger and stronger each time you visit it. Your sacred space is well worth the time and effort that you put into it and don’t worry about your design plans too much because it is very easy to make changes and redesign it any time you want. You are the creator of your sacred space so you can do anything you like with it. Just keep in mind that the energy that creates this space is your own. It is imperative that you keep it sacred. The first step in constructing your sacred space is to pick out the type of atmosphere you like the best such as a beach, a forest, a mountain, a garden, etc. What kind of place makes you feel like you can get away from it all? What type of place makes you smile and feel warm and welcoming? Maybe a snowy ice castle is your thing instead – it is whatever you like – whatever makes you feel happy. After you know what kind of place you want to make, then decided on its size. Do you feel comfortable in a large area that is just for you with hot springs, lakes, and marshes – or would you rather have a mansions in the middle of the open field filled with wild flowers and that is the extent of it . Really – it is your place and it is whatever you want. My suggestion though is to try to keep it to a size where you have the ability to walk around and explore but not so big it just keeps going and going. This is a good place to start when just beginning and in time, if you want to expand, that is easy to do. If you want your winter tundra to turn to sunny warm skies you can do that as well. Let’s get started. Plan to set aside 30 minutes or more for quiet meditation. If it helps, you can have soft meditation music playing and/or burn some incense. Spend time relaxing your body from your feet up to your head. Release all of your tension and stress. Start out with a few deep breaths and feel yourself becoming more and more relaxed as you breathe out tension and breathe in peace. Start with your feet and feel the muscles in your feet loosening up and relaxing. Move that relaxation to your calves, feeling them loosen and relaxing - just letting go of all tension and stress. Move that feeling to your knees, taking your time to really feel the release of the muscle and then just breathe the stress away and replace it with joy and serenity. Move up to your thighs, your hips, lower back, belly, stomach, upper back, shoulders, arms, neck and head - don't forget your face. Be sure to spend a little extra time with the shoulders, neck and face as you hold most of your stress and tension there. After you feel relaxed, place yourself in a protection bubble. Imagine a clear bubble all around you. Make it just the right size - close to your body but not too close - nice and cozy. See white light from the universe pouring into your bubble like a bucket pouring water water over your head, only it will be white light from the universe pouring into your bubble. This is a protection bubble. The white light will keep you safe from negative entities. Next, begin to construct your sacred space. For example, if your sacred space is an open field with wild flowers - then imagine a big open area and begin to fill it in. What is the weather there? Will it be a warm or hot like summer? If so, feel that temperature - that perfect temperature that you love on your skin. Will there be grass - if it is warm, will it be green? If it is fall, will it be a different color? Or maybe you are just a colorful person and decide to have a royal purple grass covering. Will the sky be blue, orange, pink or maybe a pastel green? Will there be no sky? The idea is to fill your space in with whatever suits your fancy and most importantly, whatever makes you feel happy and joyful. You can make a walkway through your space and it can be made of anything you so choose such as white marble with swirls of silver or it can just be a simple winding dirt path. You can have a spiral staircase along your path that goes to a second floor or maybe to a place you can think, heal and meditate. You can add a small lake with crystal clear blue water or maybe you prefer pink water. You can have hills up ahead with a small mountain in the distance that has a little waterfall. What sounds do you hear in your sacred space? You can hear wind chimes or a gentle breeze. You can place benches to sit on along your path or off in a sacred circle somewhere in your field. You can even make yourself a little shrine or a place for you to relax. You are the builder of this place so anything you can think of you can create here. You get the idea. Make use of all of your senses while you create. Let your imagination free! Since this is the very first step - it is like a creative visualization that you are doing but in meditation, you are not just drawing this in your minds eye, you are attracting energy to it as well. Don't be too concerned just yet with the amount of energy and detail you put into it as that is in an upcoming step. What you really want to focus on at this time is just making your overall outline and picture of what it is you would like your sacred sanctuary to be like, to look like, to feel like, to smell like and to give it some shape and especially purpose. In this meditation, try to come up with your rough draft and then spend a little bit of time trying to move around there to view it from different angles. This way you can see how you like it. After this meditation is done, physically write down what your sacred space is like on paper so that you can have a total description of it. You want to try to write it as closely as you created it in your meditation. This will reinforce your energy in your creation and help you to remember what you built. Do this after every meditation during the creation phase so you can keep reinforcing the energy and get more and more ideas. It also aids in giving power to your creation when you are there and even when you are not, Just thinking about your creation will send it energy and give you more power to create. Try to do your next sacred sanctuary meditation the next day if possible - but definitely do them close together or the energy that you put into it will dissipate. In your second meditation - start off the same way as you did with the first one by taking deep breaths and relaxing your entire body. Then place your protection bubble around you and fill it with white light. Begin to think of your sacred space again and remember it the way you last left it. Before you try to add more detail, try to move around there. Walk around using your imagination but look through your eyes like you are really there. Don't see yourself as a separate person walking through your space like a movie. Be there - be present. To help you do this, use all your senses again. Feel the sun or the cold, hear the wind, the birds if you have any wildlife, or the ocean - whatever it is you use in your space. Smell the clean air and notice how easy it is to breathe it in,. Notice how every breath you take is a healing one because this place is pure and free from toxins and pollution. Spend a bit of time just observing what you have. What is missing? Take note and then start to fill in the cracks. Add more detail to your sacred place. Put in some statues or fill the place with flowers. If you have a mansion or castle, add decor or even an elevator. Are you sharing your space with wildlife? If so, decide what will live there with you. These animals can even be ones of your own design. Try to touch things like the grass, the water, the walls - try to drink some water or smell a flower. Yell really loud and see if you can hear your echo. The purpose of this meditation is to give your sacred place much more detail and also to get you used to the way it feels to be in this place. It is important that you feel like you are there but don't worry if it only feels like an imagination because it takes some time to build the energy to density and skill to make it real in the astral planes. Remember to keep in mind that the more time and effort you put into your sacred sanctuary, the more you will get out of it and the more real it becomes in the astral - even in the physical to a certain extent eventually The next meditation will focus on continuing to build your space by adding in minor details and learning to vibrate within the energy and frequency of your space so you give it your own energy signature - almost like its own unique birth. This will make your space come alive with your own energy and it will react to you and your dreams and wishes. This will make this a great place to do manifestation work and healing - among countless other things. Every time you go back to your sacred space, just your very presence will make it react to you and you to it. The more you go, the more you will shape it into a sanctuary made just for you by you. It can't get more perfect than that! No doubt you will find more and more things that you would like to add or take away, change up and move around - and you can. It is very easy to do and we will cover that in this meditation too. When you first get to your space, spend time exploring again. Just let yourself relax because there is no such thing as time in this place. Although you may choose to have seasons or day and night here, there is no time as you are used to it. Time here stops. It is a different kind of physical law but we will cover that in the next meditation. Just know that you are free, at peace and in no hurry. That is the purpose of a sacred sanctuary - to be at peace and relax, to heal and to discover yourself. After a few minutes of just simple exploration, start to add even more details to everything you see - especially to those things and places that are the most important to you. Whenever you add detail or even add anything new, be sure to not only observe the way it looks, but notice every crack and crevice. Feel it to embed the texture into your mind. Notice what shade of the color it is and if that shade changes into another color or how it is laid out. If you take something away, notice the way it looks without it there any longer. Your goal here is to make this space so comfortable, so peaceful. so relaxing - everything you could dream of to give you peace and tranquility. After adding some more detail, it is time to mesh yourself with your own creation. If you haven't done this already, then do it now - create a place within your space that feels like heaven within your heaven to meditate. So yes, you will be meditating within your meditation - kind of like the movie inception. You have to keep in mind that when you are in your world, you are no longer in your room at your home in your 'real' life meditating. Your conscious now in your own sacred space and you will need to meditate there in order to make some pretty awesome things happen, but right now, your job is to give life to your world by meshing it with yours. This is not dangerous, it is a way to make your world more dense and real. With enough practice and perfecting your skill, your space will become a real bonafide place in the astral plane. The more real it becomes in the astral, the more real it will feel to you when you visit and this is what you really want to accomplish. Once you have a very comfortable place to meditate within your sacred space, you will truly have your sacred sanctuary ready to utilize. Sit or lie in your meditation space within your sacred space and begin to meditate just as you always do. Take a few deep breaths and relax your body and mind. Place your protection bubble around you and fill it with white light from the universe. When you mediate this time you will deepen your state of consciousness so much more. After you are relaxed, you want to place your hands on the ground of your new world. Everything gives off vibrations as everything is energy and you want to feel that energy - be that energy. Your sacred space is a construct of mass energy. Let’s make this energy stronger now. Pull in energy from the universe – there is a never-ending supply of it – and allow your world to absorb it just like a sponge. You can see the particles of energy pouring down from the universe and entering the ground of your sacred place or use whatever method works for you. Spend a good amount of time feeding your sacred space this energy. You can incorporate your feelings of love and peace into the energy or just hold the intention of these feelings so they infuse the energy coming in with those kinds of characteristics. You can also combine different colors of light with the energy that you pull in and have your world absorb those as well. This light comes from the universe so pull it down and have it absorbed with the particles of energy. White combines all colors so that is something to consider. You can use blue for tranquility and calmness, green for healing, purple for spiritual purposes or pink for love. Feel free to combine any colors you want. Once you complete this step – and remember, you can always re-do any and all steps as many times as you feel is necessary – even if it is to just give your sacred sanctuary a tune up, then you will turn your body into a circuit of energy within your sacred space. To create this circuit, you will concentrate you focus on the circuit of energy that you are going to make now, so that you can become one with your space and it can become you. With both hands on the ground of your sacred space, draw energy up through you left hand from the ground and pull it up your arm, across your shoulders into your right arm, and then push it down that arm into your hand and back into the ground. This completes the circuit. Please note: If you are left handed pull the energy in the opposite direction. Continue to pull and push the energy making and smooth loop of energy that comes from your sacred sanctuary into your ethereal body and then back into your sacred sanctuary. Run this energy circuit smoothly and once you have it going, slowly increase the speed that the energy flows. The energy will respond to all of your thoughts easily. Run this energy for a while and you will begin to feel tingling and/or heat in your hands, arms and body. You and your sacred sanctuary are now bonding. Before you end your session, sit quietly and still. Observe and note all of the new sensations you are feeling. Ask your sanctuary anything you want – energy is conscious. You can name your world or you can ask it for a name. If you name it – be sure it likes the name you chose. If you are into numerology, you can use that to help determine a great name for the purpose you intend to use your space for the most. Before you leave your sanctuary, take a little stroll around. If you desire to change something, it is very easy to do. Find something that you want to change and if there is nothing, than temporarily change it just for the sake of practice – then you can change it back. Look at the item you want to change. It can be something tiny or massive – like the shape of the structure of your castle. Picture your item reshaping into the new item. If it is bigger, this may take a little longer but the most important thing to remember about making changes is to make them with detail. As you are changing your item is changing, think about the size, the texture, the smell, the sound, the nooks and crannies, the color/s, the uses, etc. Yes, you can always come back and make it more detailed. Making changes with detail is very helpful because it will not only help to blend in better in your world but will not leave a type of hole - or spot where energy can seep through cracks. It really isn't too imperative but helpful and more energy efficient. If you want to completely take something out, just look at the item and say ‘delete’ and poof, it is gone! It is really that simple. The next mediation will teach you how to set the laws of physics in your world or more accurately, deny the laws of physics as you know them. So your new sacred sanctuary is much more than just a place to get away or to think, heal, etc - it is a place to let loose and have some fun. Yes, you can walk around anywhere you want but you can also fly, jump straight to the top of a mountain with one leap, create a flying saucer with a single thought, turn yourself into a bird, burrow underground with the scoop of your hand - there are no laws of physics and there are no laws! You are the creator and you can make rules if you want to but you don't need them. The only time I really suggest you put some laws into place are for when you may invite visitors to your sanctuary. By visitors, I am talking anyone from your deceased loved ones, to spirit guides, angels, spiritual teachers, or even other people you may know who are still alive, as they can visit when they are sleeping.and you can even invite animals or extraterrestrials. One very important word of warning though - unless you know them well - I would not invite anyone into your sacred place. Even a spiritual being such as a spirit guide - don't invite him or her unless you have worked with them enough to recognize their energy. Always beware of negative beings although in most cases, a sacred sanctuary will not be a very tempting attractant. This doesn't mean you don't have to be careful. Some evil entities find it a challenge to break down your space and you. So next we are going to build a shield around your sanctuary. Building a shield should also be done in meditation and in your sanctuary's meditation spot. It will be much stronger that way. Once in your meditation, totally surround your sacred place with a giant bubble. Fill this bubble with white light from the universe - white protection light. Place another bubble around the first bubble and fill this bubble with green healing light from the universe. Add a third bubble - a third powerful layer to your protection and fill this layer with purple spiritual light. Seal all three layers with a layer of mirror facing away from your sanctuary. The mirror looks just like another bubble and it will repel any negative energy that comes near it. One more thing you want to be sure to build into your shield is the capability to remove negative energy that comes from you. Be sure when you are constructing each layer of this shield that your intention of protection is infused into it. Infuse your mirror with protection and the ability to instantly repel anything with ill intent. Your four layers should be built with the capability of sucking out any negative energy that you may bring with you. Be sure to reinforce your shield every time you visit your sanctuary.
Something else you should do at least once a month or even more often than that is to cleanse and purify your sanctuary to keep it sacred. If you are always a holy wreck when you go there then you may want to cleanse it a little more often. You need to make a doorway - an entrance to your world. You can make it any way you see fit and you should inscribe your name onto the entrance with great detail as it reflects you and your energy. Inscribe it with your energy when you are inside of your sanctuary. You can have a very short foyer when you first walk in and this foyer can act as a cleansing hall - when you walk through your entrance, the doors or enclosure closes and you are in between your human life and your astral life. This little entry way or gateway can become a cleansing place to rid yourself of all the stress, tension and negative energy you may have with you. Remember to place some pretty good intention when building your entry way. When you leave your sanctuary - it will balance the vibration you have to center yourself to come back to a denser reality - your human life. From time to time, do a spot check on your sanctuary to 'feel' its vibration. Does it feel happy - remember that you can ask it how it feels. Feed your world energy from the universe and repeat the energy sponge, followed by the energy circuit to purify your world and make it happy. Don't forget to always use all your senses when doing so. Actually, you should always make it a strong habit to use all of your senses when you are in your sacred sanctuary. Another awesome thing you can do once you are settled in with it all is to repeat the psychic exercises I gave you in part one of this blog - but do them in your meditation place in your sanctuary. Also, do them in your regular world and then compare the differences. You will learn a lot. Every time you come out of meditation - or leave your sanctuary - give thanks to your sacred place and be sure to leave you love and appreciation. Walk through your gateway and allow it to center you so you can easily adapt back to your Earthly life. If you don't center yourself, you may find that your focus can be off in your human life. You can use the following method of leaving meditation after you walk through your gateway and complete your centering. Count forward from 1 to 10 and when you get to 6 open your eyes. At ten take 3 deep breaths. One last thing - depending upon what you would like to use your sanctuary for, you can assign a guardian of the gateway, but if you do that - you must totally trust this entity so it has to be one that you have worked with for a long time. Don't summon an angel or guardian of any sort unless you have a friendship or working relationship with them. Give your guardian specific and very literal rules for protecting your sanctuary and allowing others to pass through that gate. Only allow others to come by invitation and only when you are present. You can allow another to stay at your sanctuary, but I would only do so if you are a very advanced practitioner as many negative entities are very adept at gaining your trust or posing as someone you know so until you are very adept at reading energy signatures, keep your sanctuary safe and to yourself. These are the basics of creating your sacred sanctuary. This place is alive with energy and it will respond to you. You are the creator so you can do anything - anything you can think of, but just remember if you taint your sanctuary by trying to use it for something other than positive intentions, it will respond in kind back to you. You will reap either benefits or karma. It has no ill intentions, only feedback. With nurturing and love, as well as time - this place will seem as real as things seem real in your most vivid dreams. In the astral - things do not have the same type of physical existence that you are used to. There is a type of physical being but it is much more like a ghost if I had to describe it. The astral contains things that you probably didn't even think could ever exist. In the astral world, the saying be careful what you wish for holds so much more power. You will discover yourself many times over and reach new insights, new views and go on a journey that you could never find in this world - but you can bring that back with you to make even more discoveries in your human life. Good luck and enjoy your sacred sanctuary.

In today’s insane world, most people are feeling super stressed, full of anxiety and depressed. They are on meds just to wake up, go to sleep and try to stay sane which usually ends up making more issues than helping in the long run. It doesn’t matter if you are an everyday Joe or Jane, if you are rich and famous or if you are a psychic/paranormal researcher – everyone needs their serenity. This is an exercise I usually do with my clients and students in order to help them get into a very deep meditation and do more advanced spiritual work but anyone can learn this and they should – if for nothing else than to have a little peace and a mind escape. Your sacred sanctuary is a sacred place in the abyss of your psyche that you will create from scratch and then bring it to life. You will be creating this place just for you and no one else can get into it unless you specifically invite them to join you. You have complete and total control over this sacred place and it can be altered at any time for any purpose and in any way you choose. When you are in your sacred place, you are free from worry, free from pain and suffering, free from disturbances and you can do and act as you please. You are creating this place out of pure energy so it will inherit the characteristics and atmosphere that you consistently feed it. When my students want to make things happen in their life or help their clients, they can go to their sacred place and do any kind of psychic or energy work there which will manifest itself in physical reality in the correct divine timing. The first step is to build your sacred space and the second step is to get very comfortable being there and to continue to give this space a reality. Visualization helps with this exercise but if visualization isn’t your thing – no worries – there are other ways to get the job done and it all works just as well. I am going to give you the basics of creating your sacred space and then take it a step further for people who are involved in the paranormal worlds. You can use your sacred space to just have a place to escape to, to meet your spirit guide, to hang out with angels, to learn the secrets of life, to meet alien guides, to learn more about your higher self, to meet your previous incarnations, to travel to other realms and time, to heal yourself, to artificially reincarnate, to change bad habits, to reinvent yourself, to instill new good habits, to boost your confidence, to relax, to just simply be at peace and a whole bunch more things you can do. If you can think it, you can do it here. There are two prerequisites for this exercise and one is is that you must be able to meditate. The other is that you protect yourself from negative energy. For these exercises, begin by imagining a bubble that completely surrounds you. See white light from the universe pouring down like a gentle waterfall into your bubble. Then ask Archangel Michael to come and provide protection against any and all negative energies and entities. These are two very basic forms of psychic protection but they should be fine to get you through the second prerequisite of quick meditation practices. I know that the word meditation scares people at times but meditation is really nothing more than focused relaxation for most people. I say that because advanced meditation can be used for some pretty intense psychic and paranormal activities, but you only need to spend small amounts of time doing this exercise if that is all you can muster or have time for. If you follow through and create your sacred space, you will want to spend more and more time in that space. There are mental, emotional and physical benefits to creating and utilizing your sacred sanctuary. It is a place where you can ‘get away’, relieve stress, interact with deceased loved ones, work with your spirit guide and angels, get solutions to issues and problems, work on making your health better, work on making life changes and increase your psychic abilities – just to name a few things. For those of you that do not meditate, here are some prerequisite exercises to help you so that you have an easier time building your sacred sanctuary. Even if you are a seasoned meditator, you can still benefit from the exercises as they will help you build focus and develop your psychic abilities. Try to meditate for at least 10 minutes a day, but 15 to 20 minutes would be something you will want to work up to. Don’t see meditation as a chore, but rather special serenity time for just you. You need and deserve that time for yourself. It will help you to be more productive and happier as well. Also, do not become discouraged if you do not seem to make what I am describing in each prerequisite happen as this kind of thing takes time to build as any skill would. However, just practicing them will benefit you immensely and will aid in making your sacred space much easier. If you repeat the 11 day exercises, each time you will more than likely find yourself making improvements. These simple meditation exercises will help you to develop your psychic abilities as well. Begin each meditation the same way - your protection bubble and asking for Archangel Michael and then sit in a comfortable chair and take a few slow, deep breaths. After your deep breaths, close your eyes and count backwards from 20 to 1, but do that to the count of your breaths - slow and relaxed until you get down to 1. Then proceed with each days meditation focus. Remember to always thank Archangel Michael for his protection. Day 1 – Think about the room you are in and then try to draw it in your mind. Start with one wall, the one in front of you and picture how high and long it is. What color is it? What is the texture? Are there any significant markings? Are there windows? Where are they placed and how large are they? Is there a door on that wall? Now how about pictures or other decor? Really try to see the wall in front of you as if your eyes were open. Try to fill in all the nooks and crannies of that wall in your mind. If your mind wonders off to something else, then just simply return to the exercise. You do not have to start back at the beginning again. You do not have to follow these directions to the tee but just get the idea that you are trying to recreate the wall in front of you the best you can and if you can continue on to other walls in the room, that is great. If you can only do one wall, that is fine. The most important part of this exercise is that you work on detail. If you can only do one wall, make it as detailed as possible. You will get more from that then you would trying to do the entire room if the detail is not there. It is a good idea to study the wall you are going to recreate by observing it very carefully. Touching the wall to feel for cracks, the texture and using as many of your senses as possible to embed all of the characteristics of that wall into your mind's eye before you set out on your meditation to recreate it. Day 2 – Try to concentrate on all of the sounds you hear. Try to separate each sound and pinpoint the location each sound is coming from. These sounds can be house noises, the refrigerator running, a person’s voice, vehicles outside, a high pitched noise in your ears, the clock, a television, etc. If the house is pretty quiet, keep listening to see if you can hear anything very faint or new. The important part of this meditation is to focus everything on listening for sound, trying to hear and separate them and then trying to pinpoint the direction it is coming from. Switch up the times of day you are listening so that sometimes you have more noises to sift through and at quieter times, you have to listen very carefully to all the subtleties. Day 3 – Think of an item that has a scent like food, perfume, hair spray, etc. and then imagine seeing the item in your mind. Now try to smell that fragrance as if you have it right in front of your nose. Take the time to notice if it has a strong or light odor, if It is pleasant or not so much. Notice how it makes you feel – what kind of sensations come over you? After you take careful notice of the fragrance and how it makes you feel, the use your imagination to move the item further away from you, but not so far that you cannot smell it. Then take your observations again. Does the item smell lighter, etc? Move it in very close again and repeat the observations. Do this with several items mixing up the types of fragrances such as pleasant, sweet, sour, strong, not so pleasant – you get it. The most important part of this exercise is to be able to smell the aroma of the item. Focus on the scent, but try to incorporate your visualization. Day 4 – Picture a favorite fruit or food item and then try to taste that item. Begin with visualization by imagining that it is right there in front of you. Next, smell the item and take notice of how it smells. Then use your imagination to take a bite. Try to get the taste of the item as if you were really eating it. Notice the texture and how it breaks apart as you chew it. Take notice of every step of the eating process. Do this with several food items but mix the tastes up. It would be great to eat something sour and see if it gives you that pucker feeling or something bitter like cocoa. Try something sweet and try different textures as well. The most important thing for this meditation is to try to taste your food item. Day 5 – This day is going to be on repetitive focus. Start off by counting your breaths. Count from 1 to 10. Try not to increase the speed of your breath but just breathe naturally. Once you get to 10, then count backwards from 10 to 1. After that, count up again from 1 to 20 and then backwards from 20 to 1. Do this again from 1 to 30 and 30 to 1. See how long you can keep this pattern going for your set time in meditation. If you lose track of where you were, start from 1 to 10 again. Day 6 – This meditation will focus on how a trigger effects your emotions and feelings. Begin by imagining the color blue – any shade of that color is fine. You can imagine it as a circle at first, then mold it into a square, flatten the top of the square and elongate it into a rectangle, then a triangle, etc. Keep your biggest focus on the color. Once you move it into a few different shapes, just focus on the color. Keep your focus for several minutes and take notice of how that color makes you feel. Is it a pleasant feeling? Is it calming, soothing, does it make you feel uptight? You can even change the shade of that color to see how it affects you differently. Notice if this color gives you happy or sad vibes. Which shape seemed to suit that color best? Before moving on to a different color, see that color fade until it dissipates completely. Now do this with a few other colors. It is best if you can use colors that oppose each other such as blue/orange, purple/yellow, green/red – you can do these colors one at a time. if you start with blue first, then the next color could be orange. The reason for this is because these colors have a big difference in the way that they vibrate so you should feel the differences easier, but feel free to experiment with any colors you like. If you are advanced in meditation, you may want to try colors with subtle differences to see if you can feel the slight differences in vibration from the colors. Try blue and then indigo or red and then orange. Day 7 – Let’s spruce things up a little. There is electricity all over the place – it’s in the air. Your body has its own electrical system. Pretend that you are an electrical conductor and draw the electricity in the air to your body. You might imagine it coming to you as little dots or lines – or however you see/feel it. You might hear the crackle or buzzing in the air as you concentrate on it. Draw this energy in and see if you can feel your hairs on your arms standing up. Bring this electrical energy into your body like a giant absorber and when you feel that you have built up quite a bit of energy, concentrate the energy and sent it down both of your arms and into your hands. Put your hands about an inch and a half to two inches apart and cup them as if you were going to put a ball in between them. Have the electrical energy that is moving down your arms and into your hands stay in between your hands and concentrate the energy right there. Remember, there is a constant flow of this energy coming in and moving down your arms, it only stops when you make it stop so keep the flow going and try to fill that space between your hands with very dense electrical energy. Can you feel it growing warmer between your hands? Do your arms and hands tingle? What other sensations do you feel? Do you see any colors or smell any scents? Try to use all of your senses to take notice of all that you feel, hear, see, smell, taste. The important thing with this meditation is to learn to feel and move energy. Day 8 – Picture a giant bubble in front of you – one big enough for you to step inside of. Now using your imagination, step into that bubble. It will not break so don’t worry about that. Once inside of that bubble, touch it to see what it feels like. Smell it to see if it carries a scent. Listen to the sound inside of that bubble. This is a magic bubble and it will do what your mind asks it to do. Using your mind, command the bubble to expand away from your body in all directions for about a foot. How does it feel inside the bubble now. Notice as many differences as you can. Now push the bubble out even further from you – say about 3 feet. Take notice of the differences again. Practice drawing the bubble in closer to you and away from you. Turn the bubble into different shapes and colors. See how each difference feels to you using as many senses as you can. The important thing with this meditation is to be able to manipulate your bubble and feel the differences each time you make a change - even if it is a subtle one. Day 9 – Pick a corner of the room you are going to be meditating in and go stand in the corner before doing this meditation exercise. When you are in that corner of the room, note where you will be meditating from and take notice of the view you have from where you are standing. Once in meditation, take a few minutes to breathe and relax. Once relaxed, picture yourself standing up and walking over to that corner you were just in. Turn to face yourself meditating. See yourself out of the eyes of the you that is in the corner. This is quite a difficult exercise but practice makes perfect. Once you can focus on yourself from your ‘other’ self and not keep going back to your consciousness that is doing the meditating, then try to see the rest of the room from the corner you are in. It will be as if you stepped out of your body and you are viewing your real self from this other you. That is the main point of this meditation. Day 10 - get a stone from outside and be sure it is big enough to really get a good feel for it in your hand. Do not wash it off; you can always wash your hands later. Observe this stone using your senses. How does it feel? Really feel the texture and take notice of all its characteristics. How big is it? Is it more round, oval or oddly shaped? What color or colors is it? Does it have any sharp edges or smooth spots? Does it have a particular smell? Sit with the stone in front of you in meditation. Relax yourself and count your breathing to 50 normal breaths. Now hold the stone in your hand and clasp your fingers around it. Just allow it to warm up in your hands. As it is warming, try too imagine the energy from the stone meshing with your own energy in your hand. You may feel a tingling in your hand and arm. Mentally ask the stone to share its story with you. Stones holds a lot of energy so allow the energy you feel in your hand to give you pictures, sounds and impressions of what this stone had experienced. Try to connect using as many of your senses as possible. The most important part of this exercise is to connect to this stone's energy and re-experience its life. Don't forget to thank the stone for it's help as it has a nature spirit that is with it.
Day 11 - you will need a bowl of water for this meditation and a place you can sit with the water in front of you. If possible, light a candle or two and then take a few minutes to relax. Let your eyes gaze gently onto the surface of the water. Adjust the way you look into the water so you do not see your own reflection in it. You want the water surface to be as blank as possible so no candle reflection or other objects reflecting on the surface of the water. Gently stare at the water. Try to stare gently but don't force yourself not to blink if you have to as this will distract you greatly. The water will eventually get a fuzzy or cloudy look to it. Keep your attention on the water. The fuzzy or cloudy look will dissipate you and you may see shapes, colors or get mental impressions. Try to keep at this for about twenty minutes to a half half hour. If it is too difficult to keep at it that long - start with ten minutes and work your way up. Just take note that most people need about 20 minutes to start getting results. It is good if you begin this exercise with a goal in mind such as getting a 'feeling' of what your day will be like tomorrow or getting a message from a deceased loved one or maybe even a spiritual guide. The most important part of this exercise is learning to keep you focus and attention on one thing for an extended period of time as well as extending your relaxed state. Even if you do not get impressions or information right away from this exercise, and most people will not, it really helps you to learn to fine tune into energy which could mean the difference between a solid or a rocky foundation for spiritual skills. Be on the lookout for both mental/psychic or physical signs and manifestations. Practice these meditations and my next post will give you all the detailed instructions on how to create your sacred sanctuary. Love and blessings. |
